RedHawks Tailgate and Game
Oklahoma UMC Campus Ministries is putting on a tailgate for all Oklahoma
UMC Youth groups to attend on Saturday, April 26. We will be leaving FUMC
Stillwater at 3 p.m. and should return around 11 p.m. The cost is $10 per
person and includes hotdogs, chips, and soda at the tailgate and the game
ticket. Registration forms are due to Andrea by April 9.

Summer Activities
It's time to start thinking about summer if you
haven't already! Aside from the busy schedules that come from sports and
other camps, we have a couple of great opportunities for our students.
Check out your calendars and get ready to register for these events:
SMac District Camp
June 8-13
This church camp is for all students who have
just completed grades 6 through 12, which means we are wanting all of our
students to go with us! We will travel to Camp Egan on Sunday afternoon,
July 8 and will return on Friday, July 13. The theme is "Our Story: Learn
It, Live It, Share It" which will focus on sharing our faith. The cost is
TBA, watch for details.
Junior High Mission Trip
June 21-28
We will be traveling to Denver, CO to work with
the D.O.O.R. Network. This is a mission program where the students will
experience many different ways we can work with individuals who are less
fortunate than we are. You can find out more information about the
organization by going to their website at
www.doornetwork.org. The cost of the
trip will be $200 per student and is open to all students who have completed
grades 6 through 8. We have 18 spots for students and the deadline for
registration (submitting your name and cost to Andrea) is May 1. If we
still have open spots after May 1 we will open the registration on a first
come first serve to all students in the youth group as we have a certain
number of people we must take. If you are interested in attending as an
adult chaperone and are trained to drive the church vans please contact
Andrea personally!
Stillwater Youth Force
July 6-11
We will again be hosting Stillwater Youth
Force. As we have mentioned for the last two months our students will not
be participating in the event but will be hosting. This means that our
students will be able to attend all the worship services and assist with
host activities such as registration and preparing meals. We will have many
fun activities throughout the week that all students are encouraged to be a
part of. There will not be Momentum Youth on Sunday July 6 or Wednesday
July 9.
Upward Basketball Camp
July 14-18 & July 21-25
FUMC Stillwater will be hosting Upward
Basketball Camp in the family Life Center. There will be many opportunities
for our youth to be involved with this as we will need counselors, game
leaders, snack time volunteers, and Bible lesson helpers. If you're in town
either of these weeks, let us know when and where you would be willing to
help!
Vacation Bible School
July 27-31
Here are the dates! Get ready for the sign-ups
because this event cannot take place without the help of our church
congregation! Miss Karel will be making announcements and bulletin inserts
will make it your way soon so set aside this week and think about where you
want to be plugged in!
