Help a Volunteer!

There’s a no cost way to do all three: sign up to have your routine monthly contribution automatically deducted from your bank account on the 4th day of each month.  Over 40 members of the congregation have been participating in this program for several years and we feel like it has passed the pilot stage so it is now available to everyone.  One-time-only sign up forms are available for download and printing at the FUMC webpage, in the pamphlet rack outside the church office, and will be available in the pew racks for the next couple of Sundays.  You’re asking, how does this save a tree?  Save a buck?  Help a volunteer?  By not writing a check, volunteers don’t have to copy the check, put it on a deposit slip, or run an adding machine tape of it!  Same time savings apply to bank tellers, proof departments, etc.  Just one check doesn’t make a difference, you’re thinking - - we process over 800 checks per month on average, sometimes over 1,000.  Yours could be one we don’t have to process, and one that you don’t forget to write, too!  Just complete the simple form, attach a deposit slip with your bank account info on it, and the process is complete - - no more checks to write, copy, tape, deposit -sometimes even lose!

Above “Budgeted To Date” amounts for General Operations and Maintenance are based on the 2006 pattern of giving applied to the 2008 annual budget.
Debt Retirement Budget is based on required monthly payments of $21,929.
This is new, more accurate way of reporting.
