A big THANK-YOU to the participants of Vacation Bible School who contributed over $200 to support the Food 4 Kids program. Our children are learning at an early age the United Methodist understanding "to be in mission." A Thank You also goes to Karel Payne and the VBS staff who guide and nurture children in becoming God's helpers.

Our church will again be sponsoring Food 4 Kids, a weekend feeding program for hungry children attending the Stillwater Public Elementary Schools. Our first truck load of food sacks and new backpacks will be delivered on September 19th. We will be taking food to the schools on the 21st. It costs $115/child/academic year to purchase the food and backpack. You are asked to give prayerful thought to financially supporting this program and/or volunteering to deliver the food sacks on Thursday afternoons.
