Revelation, the Youth Choir at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, is an actively growing ministry.  Youth in the sixth grade through seniors in high school are welcome to be a part of this highly energetic ensemble.  The group meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. during the school year and sings numerous times for both morning worship services.

Revelation is the name chosen for the group by the members as they have embarked on a newly focused and redefined journey.

The new year begins with a retreat where the singers have a chance to flex vocal chords, learn about and help refine group expectations, and began to establish group relationships.  Members of the ensemble are encouraged to take voice lessons during the fall and spring semesters free of charge from director Ed Davis.

Besides music for morning worship, Revelation also is an integral part of the Hanging of the Greens service on the first Sunday in Advent, the Easter Vigil, and joins the Chancel Choir for Christmas Eve.  They have also reached into new territory by presenting powerful dramatic portrayals with their music.

Anyone in Middle School, Junior High or High School, whether a church member or not, is welcome to come and be a part of this active ministry at FUMC.  If you are interested in being a part of Revelation or any other ensemble at First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, come by the church and see  FUMC's Music Director Ed Davis, call the church or email him at eddmusic@fumcstw.org
