Visual Arts
A committee for Visual Arts in Worship will be established by summer of 2006 to help coordinate new visual elements for services throughout the year. We often have extra visual elements during Advent and Lent, but other times of the year have often been neglected. This can create quite a dulled visual sense during the long "green" season after Pentecost. Our goal is to work to add visual elements throughout the year that enhance our worship and keep us fresh and energized to praise our Creator.
We are looking for people with a good sense of visual aesthetics and the ability to be creative and think "outside the box." There are many tasteful, visually stimulating things we can do in worship and we need to find the people here at FUMC to help us create, organize and implement them.
