Fine Arts Ministries

Welcome to the new ways we are looking at integrating all the arts into our ministries at First Church.  There are many things which have been done before and some brand new ideas being explored which will all come together as a comprehensive Fine Arts Ministry.  The arts contain the elements which truly allow us to express our feelings and offer praise and worship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We wish to pursue as many avenues as we can to utilize the multitude of different expressive capabilities of our church family and to do so in as coordinated an effort as possible.

We will see more dramatic works in worship which will tie into the worship message of the week.  Church members will use literary arts to tell their stories.  We will begin using more visual elements in the services over the coming year to enhance the delivery and understanding of the messages.

Work will be commencing to organize all these areas over the next few months.  We look to have most of the elements in place by summer 2005.  Check back here periodically and contact Ed Davis at the church or via the web site email below for more information or to sign up to help.
