Travel Hour meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays at from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in room 111. Group members can, but don't have to , volunteer to lead us on a tour of someplace they've been or someplace they've studied and would like to visit. On occasion a member of the congregation will lead a class period.
Lap Quilters meet on Fridays from 1:00 p.m.
until 4:00 p.m. in room 111. Materials are provided for lap quilts which
are given to nursing homes and other shut-ins. Occasionally we sell them
to provide money for more batting.
Friday Morning Handbells meet
from 10:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. in the choir room (112). They play at
nursing homes, retirement centers, and sometimes at schools and nutrition
centers. The group rings under the experienced direction of Jane
Armstrong.
Painters Class meets on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until noon. They paint and help each other when questions arise. Jenice Bigbee is the coordinator for the class.
